Recently elected members of the Park Ridge-Niles School District’s Board of Education took the oath of office Monday.

Incumbent Anthony Borrelli and newcomers Mark Eggemann and Tom Sotos will serve four-year terms on the board. Incumbent Bob Johnson was sworn in for a two-year term.

The board also elected various members to two-year officer positions. Board members re-elected Borrelli to serve as president, as well as Vice President Scott Zimmerman and Board Secretary Vicki Lee.

Additionally, the board of education honored retiring members John Heyde and Dan Collins for their service to District 64. Collins served one four-year term, and Heyde served eight years on the board.
