    Fountaindale Library in Bolingbrook is celebrating its 50th anniversary and because of that is giving a special gift to its patrons. In order to commemorate its 50th anniversary, Fountaindale has revealed three new library card designs.     Lewis University's seventh ranked men's volleyball team finished off a perfect weekend with a sweep of Charleston (W.V.) at Neil Carey Arena on Saturday evening.     When Lincoln DePaula took over the Plainfield South girls basketball program, the team had not had much success.     The Plainfield Park District has been awarded a $400,000 park improvement grant from the State of Illinois. Funds from the Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant will be used to complete a planned renovation of the Park District's 75-acre Eaton Preserve on West 135th St., which includes a picnic shelter, playground, and natural area.     A Joliet police officer is facing drunk driving charges for an off-duty crash that killed a Berwyn officer. Erin Zilka, 35, a 12-year-veteran, was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence after the crash Jan. 19 on Interstate 55 north of Route 30 in Plainfield Township.
