Two people were shot outside an apartment building in the Woodlands complex in Crest Hill, just after 6 p.m. Wednesday night. Late last week Crest Hill Police obtained an arrest warrant for 22-year old Dohndray D. Woods, of Joliet, IL. This warrant is in connection with the shooting on October 15, 2020 that occurred in the 1800 block of Arbor Lane. The 2021 NASCAR schedule is expected to be released Wednesday and Joliet's Chicagoland Speedway will not be part of the lineup. The Romeoville Police Department continues to investigate the shooting which occurred on October 14 at approximately 6 p.m. on South Highpoint Drive. The Romeoville Police Department responded to a shooting where one adult male, later identified as Osama Ibrahim, suffered from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Amita Health Adventist Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased by the Will County Coroner.
