Virtual Reality Experience. 7-8 p.m. Plainfield Public Library District. Step into a new (Virtual) reality. Explore a 3D world with Oculus Quest headsets and test out augmented reality using Merge Cubes. Limited to Plainfield cardholders and those age 16 and older.
February 27 • Joliet
Project Next Generation: YOU will learn to "paint" in 3D Augmented Reality, and then 3D print in four colors. Students Grades 8th-12th. 4-6 p.m. Joliet Public Library. Project Next Generation:
Students grades 8th-12th will learn how to create 3D Graphics or paint "in mid-air" software & transfer their creation to a four-color 3D printer. Augmented Reality.

Each session consists of 4 classes. Sessions will begin the first Thursday of the month and will conclude on the 4th Thursday of that month. PNG will take place February through June 2020.
Class sizes are limited to five students. So hurry to sign up for the first Thursday of each month. Session 1: Month of February 6th, 11th(Tues), 20th, and 27th.
Students must come to all 4 classes that take place every Thursday of that month.

Leap Year Party. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Shorewood-Troy Library. Come celebrate Leap Day in the Children's Dept. Leap around from one activity to the next as we celebrate a day that only comes once every four years. No registration needed, stop in anytime from 9-4.
March 3 • Plainfield
Green Village Program: The Biggest Little Farm Documentary. 7 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library District. The 2020 Green Village Series continues on Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m., at the Plainfield Library. This environmentally conscious documentary explores a couple's quest to make their dream of living on a fully sustainable farm come true. Register online. The Green Village Series is a partnership between the Plainfield Library and the Village to provide the community with environmentally friendly programs.

Pancakes and pajamas Story time. 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Lockport Branch White Oak Library District. Wear your pajamas to this fun Saturday morning story time. This program is perfect for the whole family to do together. We will read stories, sing songs, make a craft, and serve pancakes. Please register in advance.

Messy Art for Tots. 4:30-6 p.m. Crest Hill Branch White Oak Library District. Let's get messy at the library! Messy Art for Tots allows for children ages three to six to experience open-ended, creative exploration of art. All children are encouraged to get messy and focus on exploring their creative minds through paint, paper, and more.
Messy play clothes are recommended to wear. Ages three-six.
Registration is required due to limited space. If you are not able to attend, please inform us 24 hours in advance so we can offer your spot to someone else. No-shows may be waitlisted for future programs.

Open Mic Showcase Night. 7-8 p.m. Fountaindale Public Library. Showcase your acoustic music, poetry, dance, artwork, photography and even short films. Each performer will have up to seven minutes, and signup is first come, first served. Ages 18 and older.

Family Craft Night. 5-6 p.m. Shorewood Troy Library. Do you want to be a Pinterest Family? Come join us for our Family Craft series. Each month we will make a seasonal project that the whole family will enjoy. Please register each person attending.

Amelia Earhart Takes Flight. 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Plainfield Public Library District. In celebration of National Women’s History Month, actor and historian, Leslie Goddard portrays pioneering pilot Amelia Earhart as she talks about achieving record-breaking flights. Earhart's exploits and spirited personality made her a voice to be heard promoting aviation and new career opportunities for women.
March 21 • Joliet
From Sap to Syrup. 9 a.m. at Pilcher Park Nature Center. Enjoy pancakes, sausage, and 100 percent pure maple syrup! Come for maple syrup making and tree tapping demonstrations. Breakfast is available for the entire length of the program. March 25 • Crest Hill
Dragon Egg Hunt. 6-7 p.m. Crest Hill Branch White Oak Library District. Thieves have stolen a dragon egg, from a very upset mother dragon. They have hidden the egg somewhere in the library. Solve riddles and clues to find the egg. Find the egg in order to save the library from the mother dragon's wraith. Warning thieves have hidden fake eggs all around with candy inside them to prevent the real egg from being found. This event is for grades seven-12.
March 27 • Romeoville
Bunny Bash and Egg Hunt. 6-8:30 p.m. Recreation Center. Hop in for fun! Indoor activities at the Romeoville Recreation Center include light food, crafts, a children’s entertainer, inflatables and a picture with a bunny to bring home. Child must be accompanied by a paid adult. Everyone attending must be pre-registered. No day of registration. The FREE egg hunt will begin promptly at 8:15 p.m. on Field number five behind the Recreation Center with the first age group. Each age group will follow directly after. Remember to bring a basket or bag to collect eggs with.
March 31 • Romeoville
Tales for All:/Stay and Play. 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Romeoville Branch White Oak Library District. Tales For All is designed for children of all ages and features fun stories, songs and other activities every week. At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany their children. Once story time is over stay and play with us. We have lots of toys for you to have fun with. You can stay and play and meet new friends.

Chamber Networking Night. 5-7 p.m. Plainfield Public Library District. Stop by the Library to network with local business leaders and enjoy complimentary refreshments during the monthly Chamber Network Night.
April 11 • Romeoville
Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza. 1-2 p.m. Romeoville Branch White Oak Library District. Hop in for some holiday fun. Free indoor egg hunt and activities at White Oak Library Romeoville Branch. There will be an egg hunt for kids in different aged groups, crafts and of course a visit from our hopping Bunny friend! Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone attending must be pre-registered. No day of registration.
Each egg hunt will be separated by age groups (zero-four), (five-eight) and (nine-12). Remember to bring a basket or bag to collect eggs with. Parents are welcome to accompany their child but unable to assist in the collection of eggs. Parents are asked to keep children behind all lines and wait for the signal in order to avoid false starts and to be fair to everyone. Remember to bring your camera! Reminder: Please recycle your plastic eggs in the marked bins.
