    Student artists from Plainfield High School – Central Campus, and Plainfield East and South high schools were honored at the fourth annual Lewis University Art Invitational on Monday, January 11, 2021.     The Troy Community School District 30-C school board recently approved a collaboration between the district and the Joliet Public and Shorewood-Troy Libraries, that allows all Troy students who live in the library districts to more easily obtain a library card.     Thirty-three District 202 high school student musicians will take part virtually in the Illinois Music Educators Association (ILMEA) district event this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.     The Romeoville Police Department continues to investigate the shooting which occurred on October 14 at approximately 6 p.m. on South Highpoint Drive. The Romeoville Police Department responded to a shooting where one adult male, later identified as Osama Ibrahim, suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.
