Dedicated trainers will provide support and guidance on how to be successful in a fast-paced work environment
The Workforce Center of Will County will partner with Goodwill Workforce Connection Center to offer a special customer service training from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15 at its location in Suite 100, 2400 Glenwood Avenue in Joliet.
“We are pleased to partner with Goodwill to offer this training at no cost to Will County residents,” said Will County Executive Larry Walsh. “The ability to effectively work in teams and good communication skills are important in every job, and businesses are looking for these skills. Plus it’s a great way to add skills to a resume.”
Dedicated trainers will provide support and guidance on how to be successful in a fast-paced work environment. Topics will include basic customer service and communication skills, professionalism, and building relationships.

Workforce Center of Will County To host Job Fair Nov. 14
The Workforce Center of Will County will host a job fair from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 14 at its location in Suite 100, 2400 Glenwood Avenue in Joliet.
Available positions include flex and security officers, certified medical assistant, snow pushers, forklift drivers, HVAC service and install techs, bus drivers, warehouse associates, customer service representative, general laborer, machine operator, and materials handler.
Job seekers should bring a current resume, dress professionally, and be ready for an interview. Will County Executive Larry Walsh encourages anyone looking for a job to attend this job fair.
“Our Workforce Center of Will County is the place to find a job,” he said. “This job fair is an excellent opportunity to meet with multiple employers and learn about employment opportunities. The center can also help to polish a resume and learn other skills to prepare for a new job.
