Timber Ridge Middle School hosted its 12th annual Cheer for a Child at Plainfield South High School

Toys and more than $500 in monetary donations were collected during the drive.

Toys are given to the Forest Park Community Center in Joliet.

The money is given to the Mark Staehely Pediatric Cancer Foundation for gift cards and for families who will spend the holidays with their children in the hospital.
