Lady Raiders handle Kampschroeder, Naperville North 53-42, to advance to Class 4A Benet Academy Sectional Final; AP No.1 Redwings, Thursday

In Lisle at their IHSA Class 4A Benet Academy Sectional semifinal the Bolingbrook (23-7) slowed down Naperville North's junior Greta Kampschroder and Naperville North 53-42.

With the win, the Lady Raiders advance to the sectional championship game Thursday at 7 p.m. with the top-ranked Redwings of Benet Academy (29-2).

The winner will advance to the IHSA Class 4A Lewis University Super-Sectional with the winner of the IHSA Class 4A Proviso West Sectional either Downers Grove North (28-6) or Chicago Whitney Young (25-3) .

The Warriors (29-3) crushed the Southwest Prairie East Champions from Joliet West, ending the Tigers 24-game-winning streak. The sectional championship defeat put an end to one of the most successful girls' basketball seasons in Joliet West girls basketball history. The Tigers bow out at 29-4.
