On Saturday, the Porters offensive and defensive lines, as Bolingbrook coach John Ivlow said "totally overwhelmed us."
Can they do the same to the defending Class 8A State champs?
Can senior QB Riley Pfeiffer, who ran for 100 yards against Bolingbrook and junior Andrew LoPresti (season totals: 387 yards rushing, four TDs) run wild again behind the 1,305 pounds of the Porters offensive line?
Can the Porters front four, led by the Silzers - Cole (6-foot-3, 240) and Cody (6-foot-3, 240), get pressure on Griffins QB Sean Walsh and can they stop the explosive Griffins RB, Jamal Johnson?
And then there is the Griffins defense ...
If the Porters answer with a resounding, yes to all of the above questions, another question arises?
In these virus restrictions-dominated times, will the Porter fans be allowed to rush on the field and celebrate with their beloved heroes? Stay tuned.
