The murders row bats of Lockport (6-3) were silenced by the 3-7 Chargers' George Evangelopoulos in Palos Hills. Matt Merk and Michael Hughes had the two Porter hits. Junior RHP CJ Byrdak (1-2) was the tough-luck loser on the mound for the Porters. Byrdak allowed one run and three hits in his outstanding 7 1/3 innings of work.

Senior Brody Munch singled, doubled and drove home three Hilltopper (5-5) runs. Senior RHP TJ Schlageter, allowed one run and four hits in his game-winning, four innings of work, with six strikeouts.
