Opening of the Grand Garden
Included free with timed-entry admission to the Arboretum
The Morton Arboretum will be opening its lush, colorful new 2-acre “The Grand Garden” to the public at 1 p.m., Sept. 18, as part of its yearlong centennial celebration. The centrally located gathering space, just steps away from the Visitor Center, spans the length of about two-and-a-half football fields. Volunteer docents will be available throughout the garden until 4 p.m. on the opening day to answer questions. Access to The Grand Garden is included free with timed-entry admission to the Arboretum.
